In a significant event held at Raj Bhavan, the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Lt. Governor of Puducherry, Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan, participated in the Conference of District Chairpersons & State MC Members, jointly organized by Raj Bhavan Telangana and the Indian Red Cross Society (Telangana State Branch). During this conference, several essential initiatives and priorities were emphasized.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan commended the Indian Red Cross Society’s efforts to raise awareness about CPR, underscoring the importance of training the public in this life-saving technique. She also encouraged the organization to compile data related to alumni associations, their contributions, and the impact of these funds on educational institutions.

Education, according to the Governor, is a vital investment in the state’s future, and she stressed the need for better educational opportunities.

Furthermore, Dr. Soundararajan advocated for the establishment of blood banks every 50 kilometers across Telangana, with the goal of improving healthcare accessibility.

In her speech, she emphasized the necessity of CPR training for all Telangana residents, and urged the Red Cross Society to engage with local culture and promote heritage sites. She lauded the organization’s work, calling for it to serve as a role model for the rest of the country.

The Governor acknowledged the exemplary work of most Telangana districts and anticipated that they would be recognized by the Hon’ble President of India. She also took note of the progress in IRCS memberships, CPR training, and the availability of generic medicine shops across the state.

During the conference, the Mandeep Charitable Trust distributed three laptops to degree students through the Governor’s hands.

District Chairpersons and State MC Members from across the state attended the conference and shared valuable insights.
