The Rebel MLAs camping in Mumbai are all set to move the Supreme court against the speaker of Karnataka for not accepting their resignations. On the other hand, they also refused to mee the Chief Minister Kumara Gowda apart from the Congress MLA Shiva Kumar. The hotel turned into a fortress at Mumbai and no political leader is being allowed into the hotel for security reasons.
Meanwhile, the MLAs campaign in the hotel demanded additional security as they have a security threat of being kidnapped. The Chief Minister of Karnataka, on the other hand, is holding a meeting of the irrigation officials today.
He is the only man remaining in power as all of them have resigned to give way to the disgruntled MLAs. The rebel MLAs also alleged that there is a threat to their life. They gave it in writing to the Mumbai police. On the other hand, Union Minister for defence Rajntah Sing has clarified that the BJP has got nothing to do with the crisis of Karnataka.
He said that the resignation spree started from Rahul Gandhi and all other leaders were continuing the same. There was a ruckus in the parliament over the issue and the Congress MPs blamed BJP for the present crisis in Karnataka.
