My Home real estate company Chief and the owner of TV 9 Rameshwar Rao had been maintaining close relations with the BJP top bosses after the episode of the inauguration of the Statue of Equality by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Jeeyar Ashram in Muchintal.
After parting ways with the Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, Rameshwar Rao has been moving close with the BJP leaders in Telangana. He will be meeting with the BJP Chief Nadda this night at Novotel in Hyderabad.
This will be the first time that the My Home boss is meeting the BJP national president Nadda formally and holding discussions.
There were reports some time back that Rameshwar Rao might be nominated to Rajya Sabha from Karnataka or UP, but it did not happen.
If he formally joins the BJP, he might get such a chance at least in the next Rajya Sabha elections. His entry would also strengthen the BJP Financially.
Rameshwar Rao is a close follower of Jeeyar Swamy who is also having differences with CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. Both Jeeyar and Rameshwar supported KCR in a big way from the Telangana agitation days.
If Rameshwar formally joins the BJP, it will be a different equation for the party altogether in Telangana.
