Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have been unimpressive in the ongoing VIVO IPL 10 can not afford to lose any more matches from now onwards. And there will be pressure on them when they take on the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad tonight at the Chinnaswamy stadium.
I am sure RCB having lost this year’s inaugural match to SRH must be looking for a revenge today. Just a two days ago they were crushed by KKR at the Edengardens and they are now like the injured tiger. They have to be at their best in every match they play so that they can hope for a playoff berth.
Virat Kohli got out for a duck against KKR in the very first over and then the rest of the wickets fell like a pack of cards as RCB were bundled out for 49 – the lowest ever score in IPL. AB Divilliers, who is still not hundred percent fit was also disappointing in that match and today he has to show his magic to help his side win.
On the other hand, SRH have not yet won outside their home territory. All their four wins so far came at Hyderabad. They lost to Mumbai, Kolkatta and Pune outside Hyderabad and they must be hoping to break this jinx today. David Warner and Shikar Dhawan love this ground and the good news for SRH is Youvraj Singh is fit and he will play today to strengthen the batting. In bowling they are the best in the business with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan in superb form, getting wickets in every match. It is certainly going to be a cracker of a match today and all cricket lovers are just waiting for the match to begin.
In yesterday’s match Rising Pune Supergaint scored a thrilling three run win over Mumbai Indian at the Wabnkhede stadium, despite Rohit Sharma’s brilliant effort. Put into bat first RPS put up a fighting 160 on the board, which really proved to be difficult to chase in the end. But Harbhajan Singh achieved a memorable feat yesterday, claiming his two hundredth T-20 wicket when he clean bowled Steven Smith. For RPS Ben Stokes and Unadkat bowled beautifully.
