Rangasthalam of Ram Charan has got the highest collections for the year 2018 in Tollywood and Geeta Govindam also has done well. Geeta Govindam can be called as the highest groccer for 2018 as the investment made was very less.
Ramcharan and Viay Devarakonda entered the top league with 2018. Geeta Govindam stabilised the career of Vijay, while Ramcharan also entered the big league. His versatility has improved a lot.
Both the movies are from Mega compound and the year belong to Mega family we can say. Geeta Govindam with low investment collected around 100 crores and 70 crores is the profit. The investment made was very less for the director and the Hero.
Sukumar the director was appreciated for the making of Rangasthalma which showed the village life in reality.
The songs were also good in both the movies apart from music. There is an all-round appreciation for the movies and they are the movies of the year 2018. Ran Charan and Vijay are getting a lot of offers after these movies but they are careful in choosing the movies. They are not in a hurry.
All said and done it was an eventful year for the Tollywood.
