Ranbir Kapoor has not been making headlines for the right reasons lately. After a series of flops and a very public break-up with Bollywood heartthrob Katrina Kaif, Kapoor Jr has now upset the media with his comments like ‘journalists are creepy crawlies’ and ‘I love everyone except for those creepy crawlies’.

On a podcast show named ‘#NoFilterNeha’, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ star not only revealed stories related to his personal life but also spilled some beans about the ones who shaped up his career.

While talking to Neha Dhupia, Ranbir confessed to quitting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Black’, where he was working as an Assistant Director (AD), as ‘Sanjay had gotten too much and was crazy as far as he was concerned’.

“Bhansali was a hard task-master and I was kneeling down on set, he was beating me…after a point it got so heavy and I felt so tortured that I had to quit the film at a point…i think it was like 10 or 11 months into my job and I am like ‘ listen I cant do this, its getting to me’ I think I am too sensitive and emotional and he got to know me so well and he kind of kept poking into that… he got too much, went crazy as far as I was concerned,” revealed Ranbir, who initially wanted to be a director.

Despite this experience, Ranbir gives full credit to SLB for everything he has taught him about cinema.

“…Having said that I think all my performances that I do in cinema it all comes from that experience, from him …he was a true teacher in that sense…he taught me everything in terms of acting and emotions and stuff like that…,” added Kapoor.

After hearing Ranbir, it will not be wrong to say that Bhansali has been the guiding light in his life. Nice! But Rock Star is one movie where Ranbir has done exceptionally well and he will be remembered for that. After that there was no proper film for him to show his talent.
