Ranbir Kapoor who is busy with the promotion of his new film Sanju the biopic of Sanjay Dutt admitted that he was a nicotine addict since the age of 15. It may be noted that he has done the role of Sanjay Dutt where Sanjay was a drug addict and later he quit the drugs and is now encouraging people to quit drugs at any cost.Now it is news that Ranbir has openly admitted that he is addicted to Nicotine and sometimes he quits smoking then goes back to rolling cigarettes so on and so forth.
Ranbir who is in news with a good trailer of Sanju also agreed that he was dating Alia Bhatt and was seen going to hotels with her. He is yet to know for himself about his association with Alia and it is yet to sink in his body. Ranbir said -“I quit smoking for four months, then started rolling cigarettes again just last month – just one or two a day. It’s something I’m scared of because I’ve been a nicotine addict since I was 15, and it’s the worst kind of addiction.
It’s taken me trips to Austria, to this doctor who gave me injections in my ears, to help me quit smoking the first time because I don’t think I have the willpower to give it up on my own.But vaping isn’t working for me either – you can’t leave one habit for another. Eventually, it’ll just come back more ferociously.” Lets hope like Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir will also quit Nicotine and stay true to his life.
