Ramana Deekhsitutlu the head priest of the TTD was shown the door for questioning about the ritual timings in the TTD and also about the missing of age-old Jewels of the lord which were offered by the Kings centuries ago.

Ramana Deekhsitutlu was sidelined from the Temple to take rest as he has crossed the age of 60. Two more priests were also retired as the age is above 60. But however, their sons would get the opportunity to work for the TTD and sever the Lord it is reported.

The new TTD chief Sudhakar Yadav has decided that the old Archakas will be rested and the new will get the opportunity. Ramana was ruling the Temple since several years and is in the good books of several prominent people. But this time he has to face axe for questioning the decisions of the board it is reported.

Earlier also during the regime of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, there were allegations that the precious Jewels of the lord were missing and that a probe was required. But later the jewels were valued and recorded and then the matter subsided. Now the former head priest has raised the issue of Jewellery missing and demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
