TTD is organising a grand Asthana fete at Srivari temple on the occasion of the Sri Rama Navami festival on April 17.
As part of the festivities, Lord Rama will ride Hanumantha Vahana on Mada streets and bless devotees. Similarly, an impressive Sri Rama Pattabisekam fete will be observed on April 18.
The utsava idols of Sri Sitarama Lakshmana Samata Hanumanta will be given snapana thirumanjanam at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in the morning of Wednesday. There will be Hanumanta Vahana Seva in the evening on Mada streets. Thereafter at night, the Sri Rama Navami Asthanam will be held at the Bangaru Vakili inside the Srivari temple.
In view of day-long festivities, TTD has cancelled the Sahasra Dipalankara Seva in the evening.
Similarly, the Srivari temple archakas will grandly conduct the Sri Rama Pattabhisekam fete at Bangaru Vakili on the night of April 18 .Ahead of Ugadi festivities, the temple cleaning fete of Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam will be conducted at the Srivari temple on April 2.
As per tradition, the temple cleaning program is performed at the Srivari temple on any Tuesday ahead of annual festivals like Anivara Asthana, Brahmotsavam,, Vaikunta Ekadasi and Ugadi.
