Lakshmi’s NTR, the directorial venture of Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV is one of the most awaited movies of Telugu Film Industry. According to the latest update, the release of Lakshmi’s NTR has been postponed. Earlier it was supposed to hit the theaters on 22nd March but now it will arrive on 29th March. Ram Gopal Varma himself has confirmed this news by sharing a poster on Twitter and wrote, “Get Ready to know all the truths on March 29th #LakshmisNTR.”

Lakshmi’s NTR is all about the story of real-life of the former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao from the perspective of Lakshmi Parvathi. It is directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Agasthya Manju and produced by YSR Congress Party member, Rakesh Reddy under the banner of A Company Production. P Vijay Kumar is playing the role of NTR, Kannada actress Yagna Shetty is essaying Lakshmi’s NTR whereas Sritej is portraying the role of current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Ram Gopal Varma has recently released several stills, first, look video and couple of songs from his upcoming movie Lakshmi’s NTR. These promos have not only struck a chord with the viewers but also made them wait on their toes for the release of Lakshmi’s NTR, which is based on the book written by late NTR’s second wife Lakshmi Parvathi.

As the release of Lakshmi’s NTR has been postponed, the fingers are apparently being pointed at Central Board of Film Certification and Telugu Desam Party for this delay. We have already reported that TDP worker Devibabu Choudhary had filed a case with the Election Commission and requested to stop the release of Lakshmi’s NTR.
