Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao greeted Telangana people on the occasion of Rakhi Pournami.
CM said that the Raksha Bandhan observed on this day all over the country stands as a symbol of brotherhood.
He said it is a very great occasion when sisters tie Rakhi to their brothers with love and affection and ask them to support and stand by them whole life.
The CM said Raksha Bandhan is living proof of the Indian culture’s uniqueness and greatness and it will further improve the brotherhood among the people.
Meanwhile, the streets of Hyderabad are wearing a festive look with Rakhi shops everywhere in all the streets. The sweet shops are also full of customers.
The ladies were seen in large numbers shopping with no masks. Only some people here and there were seen wearing masks. The temples also had a good number of visitors in the morning being a pournami day.
