Thalaiava Rajinikanth has confirmed he will be in politics and would contest all the seats in Tamilnadu.
But he is yet to name his new political party. Rajini would likely name his party and chalk out a strategy by January 14, the day Tamil Nadu celebrates the harvest festival of Pongal.
The announcement ended two decades of speculation over the entry of the actor, who enjoys cult status in Tamil cinema, in the political arena.
“I am joining politics and it is for sure,” said the actor clad in a spotless white kurta and sporting a grey beard.Most of them liked this. After all, Rajini has no double standards like others.
