Film stars coming into politics are no news in Tamilandu. But if Rajini wants to enter politics then it is big news. After Jayalalithaa there is a vacuum in politics of the state. It looks like the ardent supporter of Amma, Panner Selvam is a stop gap man and already Sasikala is in the waiting to take over the seat.
But in between the names of Ajith and other stars have cropped for the CMs post. But Rajini is still in the race. Personally Rajinikanth as a star and god fearing person has no political ambitions. But the fans and the people around him including some BJP leaders want Rajini to step in.
But both the super stars Rajini and Kamal are watching the politics after amma. They do not know how to take the plunge. Recently they openly supported Jallikattu and forced the centre to order state for an order. They succeeded in that. After Tamil stars, several Telugu stars have also supported Jallikattu.
In the same fashion there will be a time where the stars might take a stand on the politics in the near future. The take over plan by Sasikala will definitely boom rang in the near future and people will look at an alternative. Panner Selvam may not come out openly, but he will support other forces who would oppose Sasikala.
One of the close relatives of Jaya is already waiting and has given the statement for the post. The BJP is also watching the game. The party may step in at the right time to make further in roads in Tamilnadu politics.
