But he never took sides and balanced himself from the going on in the state and also the country. But these days after crossing the 70s of his age, Rajini wants to make an impact.

There are allegations that there was communal violence due to the adverse commence of the superstar.
His political opponents are trying to figure out reasons to file a case against him and drag him into the court of law. As a film star people took him in the stride and never found fault with his comments.
But now they are ready to file a case against him in some way or the other. So, it could be wise on the part of Rajinikanth to strike a balance before making comments on any of the issues in the country or his state in particular.
He must be very careful when is making comments against Prime Minister Modi.
