It was Kamal Hassan who first said that Rajini wont suit for the current day politics. Now it is Rajendar. He said Rajii has no guts and branded him as a selfish person.

Ever since Superstar Rajinikanth hinted about his political plunge, criticism started knocking his door every now and then. Tamil actor-filmmaker T Rajender, father of hero Simbu, is the latest person to launch a verbal attack on Rajini.

Rajini has no right to rule says Rajendar

Raising his voice against the imminent threat to the Southern film industry after the implementation of GST, Rajender questioned why Rajini hasn’t opposed the insane GST on films.

‘Tamil film industry has given him everything. Despite this, he hasn’t stood for the industry when it is about to face a huge crisis. When he can’t stand for the welfare of his own film industry, how can he save people of Tamil Nadu,’ questioned Rajender, adding that Rajini is a selfish person.

‘Rajinikanth neither has guts nor leadership qualities. He doesn’t have the courage to face issues, that’s why he has left for the US at this crisis time,’ Rajender alleged.

In the end, Rajender said that Rajini has no right to rule Tamil Nadu people as he is not a Tamilian. When it comes to GST very few film personalities are fighting against it. Few heroes have talked against it and one of them Kamal Hassan.

It has to be seen if the Government would consider to reduce the GST on films. On the other hand the ticket rates which were hiked before the GST by Telangana Government were put on hold. The CM of TS has asked for the file and suggested that the ticket rates hike should be put on hold and wait for his final decision.
