G Rajesham Goud, Chairman – TSFC conducted review meeting with the Finance Commission officials Mr. Suresh Chanda, IAS, Member Secretary and Mr.Chenniah, Member TSFC regards to time the current COVID -19 situation and the impact on local body revenues in the Telangana State.
In this meeting, Finance commission has discussed various activities taken up by the state government to contain the deadly Corona Virus.
In the leadership of Hon’ble CM KCR Garu and Hon’ble Minister KTR Garu the state officials and representatives have been doing various initiatives to help the Lower Income groups and daily wages labour with required ration and food for the needy.
Government has taken great initiatives to sanitise the entire State especially the zones that are at higher risk zones.
The Government has also has taken up various works in municipalities to complete various road and underground cable laying works.
The front line warriors and ground zero staff are doing a commendable job in the state of Telangana.
The Local and Urban body officials and representatives have taken ownership in this fight against Covid-19 and are doing very good job to support the people at any given time.
This is an unprecedented time in our life time and all the people of the state should stay home and stay safe. Kindly follow The instructions being given by the Hon’ble CM KCR Garu and under his dynamic leadership, the state will soon come out of the pandemic.
