The makers are planning for a fresh round of promotions. They have spent crores on the promotions already across the country. Even Salman Khan was also roped in for a function.
The buyers had already lost a lot of money on the promotions and the interest amounts will just keep piling up with every passing week. So, the April release window, which was announced not so long ago is not a viable option anymore.
Those involved will be losing every time RRR gets postponed or delayed and that is the reason why the makers have opted to go ahead with the March release slot regardless of the Covid situation at that point in time.
So, as things stand, RRR will indeed be arriving in theatres on the 25th of March no matter what as there is a lot at stake this time around and even a month’s delay will end up costing the buyers a whole lot of money.
Under the present situation, 25th March is the final release window for RRR, and there will be no changes in this regard until and unless theatres shut down completely and the Covid situation completely goes out of hand.
