Four more awards for RRR. As the Oscar race gets intense, filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus continues to make waves on the global canvas as ‘RRR’ bagged 4 awards at the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Awards.
The film won Best International Film, Best Action Film, Best Stunts, and Best Original Song for the Oscar-nominated track ‘Naatu Naatu’. The film managed to beat the Tom Cruise-starrer ‘Top Gun: Maverick’.
Both Rajamouli and NTR were nominated to the best actor category. While Rajamouli has got a bigger role, NTR has got an intense role in the movie.
Some big directors are taking the side of NTR, while some others are taking the side of Ram Charan. Rajamouli as the director is also having expectations.
But the Industry is looking at Oscars and there is a talk that there is some lobbying from the Government side also. Rajamouli is leaving no stone unturned for the awards.
They have been campaigning in a big way across the World to pave the way for the awards.The whole team is confident of getting one Oscar or the other.
All these awards received s far will definitely influence the Oscar team they think. Lets hope India gets an Oscar for RRR this time.
