The family of popular director Rajamouli has taken Christianity a long time ago. MM Srilekha the sister of Keeravani the popular music director still is seen on the TV screens preaching Christianity.
Right now Rajamouli and his father Vijayendra Prasad are encouraged by the BJP in many ways. There is a talk that the family members are making movies propagating Hindutva for the sake of the BJP party.
Vijayendra Prasad was rewarded with RS membership for the same. He has been commissioned to make movies for the sake of the BJP so that it would help the party to garner the Hindu votes.
Controversial leading lady Kangana Ranaut also supported Rajamouli in many ways. Rajamoulis’s father worked for Kangana and she is also a supporter of the BJP.
RRR had the flavor of Desh Bhakti and Vijayendra Prasad is churning out a story against the rule of the Rajazakars in Telangana. His film Rajanna with Nagarjuna was of the same type.
Right now Rajamouli and other family members dont exhibit the practice of Christianity. In fact Keeravani worked for TTD during the regime of Raghavendra Rao as the Board member.
So that they thought it better not to exhibit or talk about the Christian religion as they are getting benefitted from the Hindu religion and especially the BJP.
It was Rajamoulis team who fixed the meeting for Junior NTR and Amit Shah for the sake of BJPs popularity. Lets see how far this will continue.
Rajamouli is also close to the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. Babu involved Rajamouli in the designing of Amaravathi the capital proposed for the state of Andhra Pradesh.
