Raja the great is getting fifty-fifty reviews. Ravi Teja plays the role of a visually impaired man named Raja and Mehreen plays Lucky, the doting daughter of a cop, Prakash Raj, transferred to a rowdy-infested area. Devaraj, played by Vivan Bhatena, is introduced as a ruthless wannabe-politician.

The first half of the film has three songs and effective fight scenes where Raja uses his other senses to their maximum extent.

Mehreen is good in her role who has her world shaken up. Ravi Teja is great in his role as the blind man. The first half has a slew of comedians lightening things up in an otherwise serious story. The first half is entertaining and it remains to be seen how the second half pans out.
