Rains in summer have come as a blessing in disguise for the people of Hyderabad and also Telangana. People are having some relief from the summer heat due to the downpour.

More rains are expected in the next three days due to a cyclonic circulation over north interior Karnataka and nearby areas, the India Meteorological Department said.
The rains will subside and dry weather will prevail due to a cyclone forming over the Bay of Bengal after May 8.
As per the IMD, a cyclonic circulation would from Saturday over the Bay of Bengal which will develop into a low-pressure area in the next two days. This system will bring dry weather to the state in the later part of the week and the maximum temperature will soar to 40º Celsius.
On Friday, light rains with thunderstorms were experienced in isolated places in the districts .
