Ever since Rahul Gandhi started the Temple run for the sake of elections, people have started asking about his Gotra or Gotram. Now the latest if that a priest at one of the Pushkar Ghats said that the Gotra is Dattatreya for Rahul and his ancestors have been coming to him since decades for the Pujas. They are Kauls and to be precise they are Kashmiri Brahmins the Priest told people. Rahul is wearing the cross belt when he is making Temple visits. The voters have been responding well to Rahul ever since he has been calling himself as a Brahmin and identifying himself as a Hindu.
The Congress changed the strategy and started appeasing Hindus instead of Muslims. They don’t want to appease Muslims now as they are a minority in numbers and Hindus are in majority.Congress wants to take the Hindu votes and they have succeeded in that. Now Rahul baba must tell us if he is Hindu, Christian or an Italian. The BJP leaders were ridiculing Rahul over this caste issue from time to time. They say he is visiting temples for the sake of votes. But Rahul continues the Temple run and is not bothered about others comments.
