Rahul Gandhi the Congress leader is being questioned by the ED in Delhi for the fourth day. So far he was questioned for about thirty hours it is reported.
His mother Sonia Gandhi is being treated in Gangaram Hospital for some infections. Sonia was also supposed to attend the ED questioning. There is a talk that Rahul is not giving answers in a consistent manner and changing the version.
The issue is pertaining to the money laundering in the National Herald case. A delegation of Congress leaders will meet President Ram Nath Kovind to bring to his notice the alleged manhandling and harassment of party MPs by the Delhi Police during their protests against the Gandhi scion’s questioning by the financial probe agency.
Rahul Gandhi is being questioned about his official position in Young Indian that took over Associated Journals Limited (AJL), the company which runs the National Herald.
He has also been questioned about his family’s shareholding in the AJL. His mother Sonia Gandhi has also been summoned for questioning but got a temporary reprieve due to her ill health.
