Refuting reports that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi entered himself as non-Hindu at Gujarat’s Somnath Temple, the party has claimed that Rahul is a ‘janeu dhari Hindu’ .Hindus wear the sacred thread especially Brahmins . In Telugu it is called as Jandhyamu.
This comes amid a controversy over an image of Gandhi’s name entered in the register maintained for non-Hindu visitors at the temple, which went viral online. The issue has been viral on the social media and in Gujarat it is a hot topic for discussion.
