Congress leader Rahul Gandhi turned into a railway coolie at the Anand Vihar railway station in Delhi this morning to resolve the issues of Railway coolies.
It may be recalled that Amitabh Bachchan the Big B acted in a movie called coolie as coolie in a red shirt and Khaki pants. In the same fashion, Rahul used a blood-red shirt with a coolie badge.
The video showing the Congress leader at the railway station has gone viral on the internet with many netizens hailing Rahul Gandhi for his gesture.
Wearing the traditional red shirt and sporting the coolie badge on his left arm, Rahul Gandhi spoke to the railway coolies at the station. He asked them about their grievances and tried to understand their challenges.
The railway coolies of the railway station had expressed their wish to meet the Jana Nayak and the video even went viral. Earlier Rahul was tasting the food in the Delhi food joints.
Rahul as such is adopting a different kind of stance to get the mileage and so far it has paid him off very well. We have to see what is going to happen in Telangana after Karnataka.
