Rahul Gandhi openly said that if Congress becomes the single largest part then he would be the Prime Minister of India in the coming elections. In the CWC meet the leaders decided that Rahul would the candidate for the Prime Minister. But what about the other parties is the real question.
Do the parties that are supposed to form an alliance are interested in Rahul candidature? will they promote him is the real question? There are other aspirants also for the PMs post. Rahul is not unanimous and many in his own party are opposing him from behind. They dont think Rahul can lead the party in the next elections.
Trinamul Congress Mamatha didi is yet to decide if she is sailing with Congress. BJP is trying to woo Biju Janatadal. We dont not know what is the idea of Akhilesh for the next election. Congress does not know what Maya is thinking. What about AIADMK. Are they with the Congress or the BJP.
Just by daydreaming Rahul cannot become the PM. That is what political Pundits say. People say Mayawati is openly opposing the candidate of Rahul. Mulayam is also in two minds if Rahul can steer the ship to the shore or will he sink it in between.
This kind of opposition, in the beginning, may not yield good results for Rahul.
So it all depends on as to how many parties would gang up against Modi and Join Rahul. Mamatha, Maya, Mulayam could be the aspirants for the post of PM. This might wreck the ship of so-called unity of the opposition.
