It looks like Rahul Gandhi the Congress President has lost hopes on Telugu states. He has just ignored the services of prominent Telugu leaders who were union Ministers earlier and also worked with stalwarts like Indira Gandhi and PV Narasimha Rao. The CWC has no popular name either from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.
Insiders say that the Congress Chief has no hopes on the Telugu states. There were some hopes about Telangana but now there is already an infighting for the seats. The Secunderabad seat has become a huge controversy. Azhar and Anjan are fighting for the Secunderabad parliament seat.
Now Kiran Kumar Reddy has entered the scene and there are a lot of aspirants for the post of the Chief Minister in Telangana. Kiran Kumar represents Rayalaseema and is known in Telangana also. So there is no formidable leadership for Andhra region. We can just forget about Congress in Andhra Pradesh. It may not be a competitor for the TDP or for that matter to any of the other parties.
When it comes to Telangana there is a lot of infighting. Trouble is already brewing for seats and leadership.
People have made complaints against Uttam Kumar Reddy the PCC Chief. Jana Reddy has got the label of hobnobbing with TRS and its leaders. After Danam Nagendar there people waiting to join the TRS. Mukesh and his son did not attend the recent meeting of the TS Congress.
Taking this whole scenario into account it looks like, Rahul Gandhi thought it would of no use in giving the responsibility to any of the leaders from the Telugu states. Finally no proper representation for the Telugu states.
