Rahul Gandhi the Congress President is making the same mistake again. He is trying to follow the footsteps of PM Modi. He wants to make foreign trips and address the Indians there like the PM.
In the name of Holi and Nani, he was in Italy while he lost the Northeast. Rahul could not get his men to power in Goa and Meghalaya even after getting a good number of seats.
After losing the three states miserably and facing a flak from the other political parties Rahu is embarking on a three-day foreign tour starting March 8.
The Congress chief will visit Singapore on March 8-9 and leave for Malaysia on March 10. During his two-day visit to Singapore, the Gandhi scion is slated to address Indian diaspora and also hold a closed-door meeting with Indian professionals and industrialists in the country.
During his visit to Malaysia, the Congress president will address people of Indian origin living in the country. It must be noted that Malaysia has a considerably large number of the Indian population. Rahul Gandhi is expected to meet businessmen as well as workers of Indian origin.
But how far this will help him in the long rung is a different issue.
