Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi can forget about his PM post for the time being. At least not in 2019. With no win in the election and losing deposits and majority of states being with BJP, Rahul has little chance to stake the claim for the post of PM.
Rahul must now try to defeat BJP by hook or crook. He must make alliances with the majority of the political parties so that the votes do not get scattered. The SP and BSP coming together to win the election is the latest example that Rahul must examine.
He must follow the Gujarat strategy where could come to a stage when was about to defeat the BJP.
The voter has become too smart and no party including the BJP can take him for granted. He will not tolerate any dictation from the political leaders. He is keeping all the options open.
With various permutations and combinations, the opposition will try to trounce the Modi Shah Jodi in the near future. It is learnt that the BJP is already training the CBI against its rivals so that they will not get time settle down to take on them.
They have started using Jagan and Pawan against the AP CM. Next, they might look at KCR.
All said and done if people don’t consider BJP then it is a clear advantage for the opposition.
