The Congress party has intensified the protests against the BJP regime on the issue of corruption. Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief in Delhi and Kunthia the Congress in -charge for Telangana have conducted dharnas and protests in front of the CBI offices.
Kunthia along with the TDP and other Kutami leaders have staged a dharna in front of the CBI office in Hyderabad demanding an enquiry into the Rafale deal and the midnight oustings in the CBI.
It may be noted that Alok Verma the CBI chief is facing an enquiry and the court has suggested that the probe must be done in two weeks time. Meanwhile, the interim chief Nageshwar Rao who is also being branded as a corrupt man is doing the routine work and not on any specific assignment. The Court has ordered that the interim chief cannot take any policy decisions and can take up the routine work.
The CBI sleuths Asthan and Verma are fighting against each other on corruption charges and the matter is in the court. Meanwhile, the Congress party is encashing on the crisis in CBI office.
