BJP MLA from Dubbak, M. Raghunandan Rao, former Lok Sabha member G. Vivek Venkataswamy, and former minister A Chandrashekar are reportedly in touch with BRS leadership and have expressed their willingness to join the party.
From Congress, Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy is also said to be willing to join BRS. Jagga Reddy, who has a strained relationship with TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy is planning to quit Congress and join BRS.
But Etela has just ignored the invitation of the BRS leaders it is reported. He wants to sail with the BJP for the time being. We do not know what is going to happen after the elections.
Ministers K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao have been talking to the disgruntled leaders from Congress and BJP, convincing them to join BRS. Vivek and Vishweshwar Reddy have been sulking for a long time.
They are not confident that they can win on the BJP ticket in Telangana. The BJP which was on par with BRS in now pushed to third place. There is no hope that it would come to power.
