The Rafale deal has damaged the Modis Government and also personal image to some extent. The way the former President of France exposed that it was the Indian Government which has pushed Reliance shows it all and the Congress party lapped it properly. Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief called Modi a thief and said that he must answer to the allegations made by Hollande.
later the France Government clarified on the Hollande Expose to say that they had no say in choosing the partner and it was the arms dealer who has chosen Ambani. Later they talked about the land and the runway that Reliance has in India for dealing with the Rafales.
But for the first time, the Congress could nail that there is something in this deal and that Modi has favoured a debt-ridden company owned by Reliance Anil. Anil on the other has filed a defamation against the Congress. But the damage has already been done and people say Modi is also corrupt. The NDA has been harping upon that there was no single case of corruption in the BJP regime, but the Rafale deal has struck them like a bolt from the thunder.
Rahul is using it to the maximum and also made personal comments against Modi. The BJP leaders and Ministers are trying to cover up by saying that no one should comment against the PM so on and so forth.
It looks like the Congress and the Mahagatbandhan would use to the maximum in the coming 2019 elections. It is time that Modi who calls himself a Sevak and Chowkidar must come out in open and talk about the Rafales and the Ambanis link.
The people must know as to what really is happening in the country.
