The Telangana Government has agreed to the increase in the rates of cinema tickets. A top class ticket in multiplex costs Rs 350 in general. In the name of the new movie, they will raise it by Rs 100. That means the ticket rate goes up to Rs 450. Parking and snacks are another Rs 200.
All put together any Individual should have to shell down Rs five hundred and there is no other way. Now some producers have started thinking of reducing the ticket rates and also snack rates.
Narang one of the popular producers and theatre owners of the Asian theatre’s group said that all theatres must provide popcorn under Rs fifty only and not more than that.
Sunil Narang is of the opinion that we must not overburden a common cine goer. Otherwise, he will go for the OTT in the near future. producers like Suresh Babu are not worried and they are ready to go to the OTT and are happy with the Platform.
Big budget and larger than life movies are good, but that does not mean they must loot the public.
