PVs centenary celebrations were done across the World said CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. He was talking at the PV Gnana Bhomi on the banks of Tankbund here in Hyderabad.
PV is a leading light for the country he stated. The DGP of Telangana studied in the Gurukul schools started by PV Narsimha Rao he reminded. PV is a multidimensional personality who did changes in many sectors and we are enjoying his fruits of labour said KCR.
The rulers must be dynamic and change to the situations he said. PV was like that at the state and also at the national level he appreciated. He talked about the Land reforms taken up by PV.
PV gave away 800 acres of land owned by the family members explained KCR. All the CMs followed the reforms implemented by PV he explained.
PV peetam will be established at Kakatiya University he announced. PV saved the country from the financial crisis with his reforms. Doing reforms with minority Government is not easy KCR stated.
PV was a guru to people like Manmohan Singh and Indira Gandhi he stated. In future also several programs will be named after PV he assured. We made his daughter Vani as MLC during the centenary. We honoured PV indirectly he stated.
PV Marg and PV statue of 26 feet was launched today by Governor Tamilisai and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on the banks of Tankbund. Governor Tamilisai also launched the books written on the late Prime Minister PV Narsimha Rao.
K Kesava Rao, the chief of the PV centenary celebrations, said that the centenary was celebrated in a big way for one year. Due to Corona, some programs were yet to be completed.
Ministers Talasani Srinivas, Srinivas Goud, Mahmood Ali, Hyderabad Mayor, Government advisor Ramana Chary and others attended the meeting at PV Gnana Bhoomi. PVs daughter and MLC Vani Devi, Son Prabhakar Rao were present during the meeting.
Kesava Rao said no leader was as tall as PV who served the Nation all through his life.
