The BJP Government today conferred Bharat Ratna on former Prime Ministers Charan Singh and PV Narasimha Rao and agricultural scientist MS Swaminathan, who is known for his leading role in India’s ‘Green Revolution’, posthumously.
PV Narasimha Rao’s grandson, NV Subhash, said the former PM’s contribution was ignored for a long time. “I am really delighted Narasimha Rao ji has got the Bharat Ratna.
I am very happy and thankful to PM Modi. His contribution has been recognized,” NV Subhash said.Subhash is one of the spokespersons of the BJP In Telangana.
Earlier Karpoori Thakoor and LK Advani were also awarded with the Bharata Ratna apart from Chowdhary Charan Singh. All put together 5 prominent people were retarded with Bharata Ratna this time.
PV Narasimha Rao is a Telugu man and the Pride of Telugu people who was instrumental in taking over the economic cirisis and also the political crisis in the country.
