Like getting Laddu, having a dip in Pavithra pushkarini is also a must for the TTD Pilgrims. The Pushkarini has been cleaned earlier and the water gets filetered from time to time. TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao on Thursday along with other officials conducted inspections at Swami Pushkarani ahead of the holy Chakra Snanam fete scheduled on October 12.
During the inspection, he enquired about entry and exit routes for devotees.He directed officials to make foolproof security arrangements and ensure that the devotees are not unconvinced at any cost.
He instructed that NDRF, Police and Vigilance, Srivari Sevaks should coordinate and be alert during Chakra Snanam fete. TTD also deployed Swimmers along with police on that day.
TTD appeals to devotees that the significance of sacred waters of Swamy Pushkarini lasts the entire day. Therefore the devotees should maintain restraint till their turn for taking holy dip in waters.
