Like his Guru Ram Gopal Varma , Puri Jagannath one of the top directors of Tollywood has failed again. He tried to rehash the theme of some movies and fell flat on his face. He wanted to launch his son Aakash could not do it properly. But Aakash is picking up and he did well in some of the scenes pertaining to Mehbooba.
Aakash who has done a lot of movies as a child artist is improving by the day. The film is shot lavishly but it could not stand up to the expectations in parts.
The theme of reincarnation like Magadheera was released and not presented in a proper format. The songs are of average nature and they dont grab your interest at all. It looks like Puri Jagannadh the director has lost his plot after the drugs episode and he is yet to recover to make a fresh movie. Puri and Charmi together have delivered a dud. Puri also sold his house for the production of this movie it is reported.
Neha Shetty the leading is Ok. It is better if Puri comes out with a fresh story for his next movie, rather than rehashing old themes with new taking. Now the audience are matured and they know what to see and enjoy. Both RGV, Puri along with Teja are good at lifting things and rehashing them. Sometimes the click, not all the times.
