MIM MLA Mumtaj Khan has taken over as the protem Speaker of the Assembly this evening. He was administered the oath of secrecy by Governor Narasimhan in the Presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Rajbhavan. Both the Governor and CM KCR greeted Mumtaj Khan with a bouquet of flowers.
The CM hugged Mumtaaj Khan and greeted him in the presence of all the dignitaries who came for the event. The Protem speaker Mumtaz Khan took oath in Urdu. MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi who was present at the ceremony met KCR and shook hands with him apart from thanking him. The Protem speaker will administer the oath of secrecy to all the MLAs. Later the election of the Speaker will take place. Followed by the Governor’s address to the Members.
