A meeting was held in the chambers of Engineer-in-chief(IW), Hyderabad today in the presence of Hon’ble MLA & Whip Govt.of Telangana Balka Suman, Sri G.Srinivas Reddy Chief Engineer(Projects), Adilabad, Sri M.Vishnu Prasad, SE/Pranahitha Project, Bellamapally , Sri G Rama Krishna, DEE/Pranahitha Project Sri R.Praveen and other officials. The proposals were discussed in detail and following instructions are issued by the Engineer-in-chief(IW) to the Chief Engineer(Projects), Adilabad.
The proposed new ayacut, Stabilisation of existing ayacut under Medium and minor projects, Gap ayacut under Medium and minor projects should be studied in detail. The proposed 3 lifts for irrigation in Chennur constituency should be investigated individually and may be integrated later stage and scope of work should mentioned clearly for obtaining Administrative approval from Government for conducting detailed investigation and preparation of Detailed Project Report for command area under Chennur constituency.
The detailed investigation should comprise necessary components such as PipeLines, Pump Houses, Delivery Cisterns, Pumps including EM & HM parts, Sub-stations & Transmission lines, Improvement to existing MI Tanks to required standards and formation of new balancing tanks if required and construction/improvements of main canals along with distribution system including field channels.
As the proposal aims at efficient utilisation of waters of Kaleshwaram Project as desired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao by feeding of existing tanks and reduces the delays and bottlenecks that may arise due to the earlier the proposal, it is requested to submit the proposals for approval for the above scheme to prepare a detailed project report.
