Telugu Cinema producer Krishna Prasad Naidu Sunkara was arrested by the Cyberabad police today and a huge quantity of cocaine was seized from him.
He was first picked up by the SOT while he was leaving his residence at Kismatpur near Rajendranagar and 90 sachets of cocaine weighing 82.75 grams was seized from him.
Police found that he had procured 100 sachets of cocaine from Goa a few days ago. It was suspected that he could have consumed some and had even sold some sachets.
Investigation into an earlier case detected by Cyberabad police and seizure of 300 grams of cocaine a month ago, led to the arrest of Chowdhury, police confirmed.
Naidu was in Goa for some time. Drugs are not new to Tollywood actors. Several actors were earlier questioned by the ED and then left them.
Drugs seizure and gold seizure are becoming routine for police in Hyderabad. Gold is seized on a daily basis in Hyderabad International Airport and drugs are being seized in several posh areas of Hyderabad.
