Considering the unprecedented craze it has among the audience, the distributors and theater owners are expecting high returns. In fact, trade pundits predict that the Mahesh Babu-starrer is likely to do a business of Rs 200 crore at the box office.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film has Rakul Preet Singh, Bharath and SJ Suryah in pivotal roles.
Spyder is slated to release on September 27 and is likely to clash with NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa.
Spyder teaser earlier received fantastic response from fans and clocked more than 14 million views on YouTube. In fact, several celebrities like Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, SS Rajamouli and Rana Daggubati praised Mahesh Babu on Twitter. It must be noted that the overseas and Tamil rights of Spyder were sold for a whopping price.
