First, it was Rahul Gandhi who called the Prime Minister Modi a thief in the Rafale deal. Rahul said that the so-called chowkidar of the Nation is a thief and he is caught in the Rafale deal corruption. He said that Rs 30000 crore was passed on to Anil Ambani of Reliance.
The PM Modi has been called on different public platforms – a Namak Haram, a dengue mosquito who needs to be killed with a pesticide and the latest being that he is compared to a Scorpion.
Shashi Tharoor the Congress leader said that the RSS calls Modi as a scorpion on a Shiva Lingam. He explained that the RSS says that they cannot take the Scorpion from the Shiva Linga with bare hands nor they can hit it with a Chappal as it is on the sacred Lingam. They are calling the Modi a Scorpion which they are unable to get rid off.
Many BJP leaders objected to this and wanted an apology from Tharoor who is accused of killing his wife.
Recently Shashi Tharoor had raised a political storm among the BJP ranks after he made a statement that if the BJP wins in 2019, they will tear up the constitution of India and then write a new one.
In this fashion, Narendra Modi is drawing flak from several quarters. It is not right for the BJP when it has to face elections in the 5 states. It has to win at least 3 states to go for the general elections in 2019.
