Prashant Kishore the political strategist is calling the the shots in YSRC and Jagan is just watching the goings on. Jaganmohan Reddy’s move to engage noted political strategist Prashant Kishor has turned out to be a nightmare for some party MLAs. Jagan who demands respect from senior leaders also in the party now has gone down to the level of touching he feet of Kovind the Presidential candidate.

The leaders in the party and the MLAs are unable to digest the things Jagan is doing. Is Jagan under severe stress on the cases that he has to face in the near future is the big question. Like Lalu in trouble , Jagan will have to face the music as the elections come near by 2019.

Prashant, who officially took charge as the YSRC party’s strategist for the next elections, had an interaction with the party MLAs, MPs and other senior functionaries a couple of days ago.He made it clear to Jagan, that YSRC cannot come to power in 2019 as per his survey and more than 26 MLAs will not win the election.

Prashant told them that he would not assure victory to the party but would only facilitate the party to achieve victory. For this he is taking about Rs 250 crore it is reported. This is like a part time work for Prashant when compared to working for Modi and Nitesh.

“My job is to provide you the blue print to win the elections and it is up to the party leadership to implement the strategies to win the elections,” he said.Prashant reportedly told Jagan that there was a lot of complacence among several MLAs about the party’s victory in the next elections.

Except a few, most of them have lost contact with the people with an over-confidence that the anti-incumbency would fetch them victory in the elections.“But, there are at least 26 MLAs, who would lose the elections because of their non-performance. They should not be given tickets next time,” Prashant suggested.

Jagan also told the party leaders that he would not hesitate to drop the non-performers and bring new faces in their places. If this is the case they will jump to the TDP , without any hesitation.

Though he did not name these non-performers, it has caused a lot of tension among the MLAs. May be it is a strategy to keep them on toes and make them deliver goods in the next two years.

The political analysts are thinking as to whether Prashant is saving the YSRC or ruining the Jagan future. What happens of MLAs shift to TDP in the eleventh hour. Who will work for the party. Prashant has already announced that YSRC will not come to power. Then what for is this exercise going on.
