There will be snap polls in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan the CM just wants to retain power. He may not get the 150 this time. The Jana Sena and TDP are coming together to forge an alliance.

The ipack team suggested that if he delays the elections he is going to lose more seats. It will be good to go for the polls at the earliest ad retain seats to the extent possible.

Jagan has ordered the party leaders to strive to get 175 assembly seats in the next elections. But he is aware that it is not easy to retain even 150 seats; and if the anti-incumbency builds up by the next elections, he will have a tough time retaining power.

That is precisely why Jagan is said to be thinking of going to the early elections. It could be by the end of this year or early next year.

Due to his welfare schemes, he can still win the elections comfortably in the early elections,. if the YSRC gets around 100-110 seats, Jagan won’t mind, as long as he comes to power in the state again.

“Even if the TDP’ gets 60 or 70, it may not take much time for the party to collapse. Jagan may lure the majority of the TDP MLAs into the YSRC to increase his strength in the assembly.
