Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee is a secular leader and there is nothing wrong in attending the RSS meet opined former Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Pranab is a great thinker and attending the RSS event was not wrong at all said Shinde who was also a governor to some states.
“Pranab Mukherjee is a secular person. He will always put forth a secular view which he will do there at the RSS event as well. He is a very good thinker, and his going there and speaking on that platform is very important,” Shinde said.
Shinde is a seasoned politician and unlike other politicians, he thought that what Pranab was doing is not wrong as a Congressman. Shinde opined that the talk by Pranabda at the valedictory of the RSS might bring in some change for upholding the secular values in the country.
Pranab will speak on June 7 and he stated whatever he has to say will say it at the convention in Nagpur. Many of them criticised Pranab for accepting the invitation of RSS. But Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was of the opinion that there should be no political untouchability in the country and was happy that Pranabda has accepted the invitation of the RSS.
