After renaming it as Praja Bhavan and removing the grills, the people were allowed to come for the Praja Vani to give representations on the issues. But suddenly it was allocated for Deputy CM Bhatti and his family as accommodation for the deputy CM.
The building moved from CM to deputy CM we can say. The CM wanted it as a skill development centre for the youth preparing for the Government exams. But now it turned into accommodation for Bhatti.
We can say Praja Bhavan becomes the Ministers Bhavan.
Today Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu took charge of the office at the State Secretariat in Hyderabad on Thursday. Bhatti arrived at the State Secretariat amid the chanting of mantras by priests.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Legislative Affairs Minister D Sridhar Babu, other Cabinet Ministers, former Minister and BRS Working President KTR, and other legislators were also present on the occasion for Prasad to take over as the speaker.
After the recent election to the Assembly, AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi was elected as the pro-tem Speaker of the House. He administered the oath of office to the newly elected MLAs on December 9. However, BJP MLAs refused to take oath from him, alleging that he was appointed, violating the rule.
Today BJP MLAs took the oath under the regular speaker Prasad.
