Nag Ashwin the man who supported Jaati Ratnalu and made tonnes of money is now working on a sci-fi film with Prabahs the international star.
The investment is going to be around 500 crores and will be launched in many languages by Vyjayanthi movies. What is a Sci-Fi film is the question now.
Earlier, India has seen a few movies in the sci-fi genre like Satyajit Ray’s 1969 film “Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne” and Shekhar Kapur’s “Mr India”, the 1988 film starring Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Amrish Puri.
There is a talk that the Sci-Fi film being planned by Nag Ashwin will have the flavour of Jagadeka Veeru Athioka Sundari of Chiranjeevi and Sridevi.
But Ashwin gave a statement that the movie will have international standards. It was Chiranjeevi who suggested Prabhas for the movie.
Narration in all these films have been unique. ‘Cargo’ and ‘OK Computer’ are the most technologically advanced projects . Some of the audience favourite sci-fi films are “2001: A Space Odyssey”, “The Fly”, 1982’s “Blade Runner.
Rajamouli did a similar movie like Fly in the name of Eega and made good money. “People are ready to watch the good work. If the content is engaging they will watch it.
