It is like South to compete with the North. Shahrukh Khan the baadusha of the box office who is on a high these days is coming up with Dunki and not donkey.
Prabhas the international star is coming up with Salaar after some flops to his credit. Talking of runtime, Dunki is around 2 hours 40 minutes long, whereas Salaar’s runtime is around 2 hours 55 minutes long.
The biggest benefit for Dunki is the ability to bring in the family audience to the cinema hall given the genre and dearth of content in this space.
Salaar on the other hand is a high on testosterone film – a genre that’s doing wonders at the box office in today’s time. It’s going to be an interesting battle royale at the box office.
Dunki with Hirani and Salaar with Neel are keeping their fingers crossed and some film analysts say that the movies complement and compete with each other.
The best will survive in the long run. While SRK is having hits, Prabhas is craving for a hit.
