The ring road around Tankbund, popular as Hussain Sagar. was renamed by the Government of Telangana as PV Narsimha Rao marg or PVNR marg.
The memorial of PV Narsimha Rao also is on the banks of Hussain Sagar that is the necklace road. Now it will be called the PVNR marg, in short. This is being done to honour the son of the soil on the occasion of his Birth Centenary.
The Telangana Government is celebrating the Birth Centenary of the PM who hails from Telangana. KCR the CM of Telangana has decided that despite being the Congress leader, PV must be given all the honour as he is the PM from Telangana who has done a lot for the country.
Year-long celebrations have been ordered by the Government of Telangana and now Necklace road has been renamed as PVNR marg. The flyover from Mehdipatnam to Airport Shamshabad is already being called as the PVNR expresses high way.
It is the longest flyover in Hyderabad. Two ramps have been added to PVNR Express High way now and KTR launched them recently.
The Telugu people, especially the people from Telangana, appreciated the CM KCR’s gesture for honouring the PV with centenary celebrations and naming the Necklace road after him.
The Congress party did not do anything to remember PV Narsimha Rao. In fact, they packed the body in Delhi and disposed of it to Hyderabad.
Later his body was left in lurch. It was half burnt during the cremation at the PV Ghat on the banks of Hussain Sagar.
Now KCR and the Government of Telangana is giving all the respect to the son of the soil who was one of the great Prime Ministers of the Country.
