The pollution levels have gone up in Hyderabad due to the crackers. No one bothered about the police orders on banning the Chinese crackers. The citizens of the twin cities celebrated the festival of lights with all the sounds and all kinds of crackers possible.

No one objected the timings also. The whole night crackers were bursted with loud sounds disturbing the sleep of the neighbours. Today also the festival will continue in the night with the bursting of the crackers.

Even the power consumption has gone up high last night because of the decorations with lights and the illuminations across the state. The rates of flowers used for decoration and puja have gone up very high.

The sweets and crackers rates also have gone up. The minimum that you have to spend is Rs 1000 for a few pieces of crackers. There was no Diwali for the RTC employees as the strike still continues.

Overall it was an ok Diwali across the state. Rain played the spoilsport in some parts of Andhra. Some of them said that the Diwali was not affordable and even the cracker sellers could not do good business this time.
